Growing through Service

A Rich History In Missions

Local Service Opportunities

Missions is an essential part of the identity of Dover Baptist Church. In existence since the 1800s, Dover Baptist has a long history of supporting missionaries, both locally and around the world.

Currently we support 10 different missionary couples and families around the US and the globe, working in a variety of ministries. Many of these are people God raised up in response to our church's prayer that God would send people from our church to those people who had not yet had a chance to hear the Gospel.

In addition to supporting our missionaries in prayer and financially, we as a church strive to learn and serve so that everyone worldwide might have the chance to experience the hope found in Jesus Christ.

House of Hope is a local soup kitchen and food pantry that works to serve those who need to receive nourishment for the body, heart and soul.
Once a month, typically on a Monday, we help serve meals at their location. If you are interested in helping please contact the church office.

Volunteer!

The first Sunday of every month we collect canned goods which get donated to the House of Hope.

Donations can be left at the Church.
