Scripture: The book of Habakkuk

Theme: Why do bad things happen to good people?

The book was written around 600 bc which was near the end of King Josiah's reign by Habakkuk, a minor prophet.

2) God's response: I am doing something.

3) Habakkuk's second complaint: how can You do that? (not the answer Habakkuk wanted)

4) God's response: Trust me, my word is sure. My timing is sure.
