Scripture: Ephesians 1:15-23

Circular Letter

Paul offers prayer on behalf of the believers of Ephesus.

Most of our prayers take up about ourselves.

Signs you are truly saved:

  • you'll not hide light under bushel
  • your love will be evident/ great abundance

Pay attention to ALL (of the saints).

Galatians 6:10, Romans 5:5

True Christian love is placed in our open anticipating hearts.

vs 17
deeper understanding (wisdom)

James 1:17, 2nd Corinthians 1:2

In today's culture we do not focus enough on quiet time with God.

vs 18, 19

Believer's hearts need to be continuously __________ with the Lord

He wanted them to understand the rich inhearitance

Open our eyes

Have full appreciation of their worth.

Not what we need from God but what we mean to God.

vs 20-23

How much power is available to us?

Jesus' power is life giving and life preserving.

This power is conditional. We cannot attain it if we live frivoulous and/ or lazy. WE ALL LIVE THIS WAY.

Here we are introduced to the term, "The Body of Christ".

Reminder

We are incomplete without Jesus Christ.

We are to display the grace of Jesus Christ every day!

It is our sacred responsibility to represent Jesus Christ.
