Scripture: Mark 11:1-8, Luke 19:28-41, Matthew 27:15-17, Romans 6:17-18, Luke 23:18-19
Intro: The sacrifice of Jesus Christ opened Heaven for us.
God moved mountains to accomplish His plans.
The Mountains God moved
- ) The first mountain - D_____
Jesus was the reflector of His Father.
Mark 11:1-8 & Luke 19:28-41
Stops on the way to Jerusalem:
Bethphage (on the slope of the Mount of Olives).
Bethany (on the top of the Mount of Olives).

Five Principles
- ) Barabbas, Free from the Chains that bound him - Matthew 27:15-17, 20-22
It is because of what they did to Jesus that Barabbas got to go free
Romans 6:17-18
- ) Barabbas's Debt was assumed by another (Jesus).
Jesus took upon Himself our penalty
Barabbas had a substituted, and it cost him nothing; but it cost Jesus plenty.
- ) The government was satisfied that justice had been served.

- Satisfaction
- ) Barabbas never again had to give account for his sins. Today, we call this "double jeapoardy".
Luke 23:18-19
- ) He was issued a new lease on life (a clean slate).
Have you experienced that incredible feeling that God has completely forgiven you?
Conclusion:
Forgiveness is always than walking on air.
God moved a massive mountain to give us our freedom.
You have a new lease on life.
