The Airplane

A special missionary project undertaken at this time was the start of a fund drive to purchase a new airplane for use at the Mosvold Mission Hospital where our own missionary, Dr. John Bennett, was stationed. Other churches joined in and the goal was achieved. Missionary pilot John Snavely flew the plane to Rochester Airport for our inspection before it was shipped to South Africa in 1965.
