Sharing the Hope of Jesus Christ In Our Homes & Communities

The Purpose of Small Group Fellowship is
  • To provide a relaxed atmosphere for the study of biblical principles, prayer and fellowship with one another.
  • To provide an open, non-threatening place where the hope of Jesus Christ may be shared.
  • To provide through small groups a means to build relationships and support for one another.
    Be devoted to one another in brotherly love (Romans 15:7)

    Accept one another (Romans 12:10)

    Care for one another (1st Corinthians 12:25)

    Bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2)

    Encourage...and build up one another (1st Thessalonians 5:11)

    Stimulate one another to love and good deed (Hebrews 10:24)

    Confess your sins to...and pray for one another (James 5:16)

    Serve one another (1st Peter 4:10)

    Love one another (1st John 4:11)

We believe that Small Group Fellowships are an integral part of the overall ministries of Dover Baptist Church. Therefore, we encourage everyone to become involved in a small group.

Small Groups meet on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.

Times may vary between groups.

To Foster biblical Love
John 13:5 - Your strong love for each other will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
To Promote Fellowship & Unity
1st Corinthians 12:12 - The body is a unit, though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.
To Build The Body
Romans 14:19 - Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
To Nurture Spiritual Gifts
1st Corinthians 12:7 - Now to each other the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
