Goals of Evangelism Ministry

Reference Matthew 11:28

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (NIV)

1. Recruit people into the Evangelism Ministry to go into the communities in and around Dover to spread the Gospel.
2. Ensure a plan of visitation of prospects and potential church members is developed and maintained.
3. Support new members of God’s family.
4. Train people who are recruited into the Evangelism Ministry.

The primary focus of the Evangelism Ministry for this year is to start an ALPHA program. ALPHA will meet the Evangelism Ministry goals by:

1. People will be recruited for the ALPHA Team and they will be encouraged to tell their neighbors about ALPHA.
2. Prospects and potential church members will be encouraged to join ALPHA
3. ALPHA groups are encouraged to support one another.
4. ALPHA is a training and learning program.
